Golf Digest: Both Sides Optimistic after Court hearing on Sharp Park
Both sides in the ongoing dispute over Sharp Park Golf Course, expressed optimism following arguments in a hearing in Federal District Court in San Francisco Nov. 18 about the future of the Alister Mackenzie-designed municipal course. At the conclusion of oral arguments by attorneys for environmentalist groups, the City of San Francisco, and the Public Golf Alliance, Judge Susan Illston took the matter 'under submission,' saying that she would file her written decision at a later, unspecified time. San Francisco Public Golf Alliance will publish the Judge's written opinion as soon as it becomes available.
